Parent Education
The best pediatric care happens between visits — in how a family handles fever, sleep, feeding and screen time at home. We equip parents with the knowledge to make those moments confident instead of anxious.
Why it matters
The most underrated medicine: an informed parent.
Studies and decades of clinic life agree — children do best when their caregivers understand what's normal, what's not, and what to do in between. Most night-time panics, unnecessary ER runs and over-the-counter overdoses trace back to a simple gap: nobody ever taught the parent.
Parent education at Happy Kids Clinic isn't a lecture. It's practical, personal and specific to your child's age — delivered during visits, over WhatsApp, and in small group sessions when enough parents ask.
Most parents' biggest fear — and the one with the clearest, calmest answers.
SleepThe nightly battle that nearly every family fights — winnable with the right rhythm.
Screen timeThe newest parenting dilemma — with evidence-based, guilt-free guidance.
What we teach
The curriculum of real parenting.
Fever at home
What number matters, what doesn't, safe medication dosing, and the 'red flag' rules.
02Infant & child sleep
Age-wise sleep expectations, bedtime rhythm, night waking, and safe-sleep practice.
03First aid essentials
Choking, falls, burns, bites — the minutes that matter before reaching a doctor.
04Behaviour & discipline
Tantrums, boundaries and 'no' — developmentally smart discipline without punishment drama.
05Screen time sanity
Age-appropriate limits, making screens useful, and breaking the tablet-tantrum loop.
06Hygiene & infection control
Handwashing that sticks, coughing etiquette, and keeping school bugs out of the house.

How you learn
Education that fits your life.
Every consultation ends with a short 'know this' — one key idea explained simply, often with a sketch or a written note you can keep.
After key visits, we send age-appropriate guidance — feeding, sleep, fever, vaccination after-care — so it's there when you need it at 11 PM.
When parents ask, we hold small group sessions — newborn care, first aid, weaning, behaviour — with time for your specific questions.
For trickier situations — chronic feeding battles, sleep coaching, behavioural concerns — dedicated longer sessions with a structured plan.
Parent education FAQs
The small questions, taken seriously.
Most education is part of routine consultations — built into the visit, not billed separately. Dedicated coaching sessions or group workshops are priced separately; ask us on WhatsApp for current details.
Yes — when there's interest, we run small group sessions covering newborn basics: feeding, bathing, sleep, jaundice and when to call the doctor. Message us on WhatsApp to be added to the list.
Encouraged, not just allowed. Most family feeding conflicts dissolve when everyone hears the same explanation from the same doctor.
Absolutely — that's exactly why we use WhatsApp. Written guidance, quick clarifications and after-visit notes travel with you wherever your workday takes you. For complex situations we'll schedule a proper call or visit.
